Happy Saturday! Another easy fun Halloween look perfect for a last minute costume :)
Hope you enjoy!

I started out by applying a light brown shade to my crease and over top of it I applied a copper shade. I also applied the copper shade to my lower lash line as well. Unfortunately I do not own an orange eyeshadow but if you own one then you can of course use it or any shade close to it. I do end up deepening my crease but I wanted to keep it safe to start with.

Next, I applied the copper shade in a rounded triangle shape on my nose.

Time for contour and blush. I contoured my cheekbones, sides of my forehead and my jaw line and applied a reddish orange blush to my cheeks. Again, I don't have an orange blush but either will work.

I took black liquid eyeliner and traced the triangle on my nose and added about six stitch like lines going around the triangle.

Taking the eyeliner again, I drew curved lines on each sides of my mouth and added the stitch-like lines on them. You can make the lines however long you prefer, I like the look of them longer.
Next up Lips. Red lipstick is a must!
Taking the eyeliner again, I chose random spots on my face and drew crisscrossing lines to give the distressed patch-like look.

Back to the eyes. With the eyeliner once more, I basically drew upside down triangles underneath my eyes.

I decided to darken my eyes up by adding black eyeshadow to my outer crease and blending the black and brown together.

Just one more time with the black eyeliner ;) I decided to add the stitch-like lines to my brow. And lastly I added some false eyelashes and that is all!

Add your favorite flannel or plaid button up with some overalls or jeans, a floppy hat and even some straw and you're good to go :)

Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone has some pre-Halloween festivities planned for this weekend. Today I'm sharing this easy lion look, perfect for a last minute costume idea. Btw this is definitely my favorite Halloween look everr and is for sure what I'm going to be this year.
I already had my foundation and brows done before hand and then I decided to start with my contour first. You can honestly contour wherever you choose, I stuck with just my cheekbones, the sides of my nose, jawline and the sides of my forehead. I didn't go too harsh with it just stay on the safe side, but I did eventually go a bit darker.

Next, Highlighting the inner part of my face. This part isn't very necessary, you can do without but it does accentuate my contour a lot more. I am using a white concealer stick (any brightening concealer would work just fine) and applying it to the middle of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, and my chin.

Now on to the fun part! I took an eyeliner pencil and drew an M above and around my nostrils and then filled it in. Next, I drew a line from my nose to my cupid's bow and from that line I drew a triangle on my top lip. I then just drew three dots on each side of that line. You can of course add as many as you'd like :)
I then took that concealer again and applied it to my bottom lip. The black does start to transfer over the white but it's not a bad look either!

Now the eyes! I only applied eyeshadow to the crease and outer crease of my lid to make my eyes appear bigger. I applied a light brown shade in my crease and a black to my outer crease and then blended them both together.

I then took the white concealer again and created a white line beneath my bottom lash line extending out past my eye to where my brow ends. Underneath the white, I took a dark brown and created another line.
Lastly, I drew a wing that extended past my inner top lash line connecting to my inner corner and on to my water line. I applied false eyelashes and did any finishing touches I felt were needed. I ended up deepening my cheekbones with black eyeshadow creating more chiseled and defined cheekbones.

Hair and outfit

For my hair I used A LOT of hairspray and teasing.
For my outfit I just wore a tan sweater, leggings, and booties.
You can of course jazz it up with a tail and ears or any way that you'd like!

With summer in the air, means time to switch up my current makeup products and my makeup bag as well. It's time to simplify my routine for these hot humid days. Light eyes and bright lips are definitely my go-to. I love to keep my products in this adorable "But First, Lipstick" pouch from Ann Page Gifts. How cute is the writing on it! It's definitely my motto! At the bottom of this post will be the other products I was generously sent along with links to them and their site. They have a variety of super fun gifts, stationery as well as personalized stationery, and the perfect party supplies such as cups and napkins with THE most adorable sayings on them. I highly recommend checking them out!

My favorite part is switching out my foundations. With the hot sun comes darker skin! I love replacing my lighter shades for darker ones. I'm currently loving this wet n' wild photofocus foundation. It is full coverage so I don't usually wear this every single day, but it is perfect for when I am shooting some photos or special occasions. Let me know if you would like a more in depth post of the foundations and tinted moisturizers I have been loving.
For my concealer, I love to use one that is light on my eyes. But I also need some coverage for those dark circles. This Garnier skin renew anti-dark circle corrector is perfect for the summer. It feels lightweight and barely on my skin but also covers my circles completely!
This Revlon colorstay aqua powder is seriously the coolest powder I've ever tried! Right when you apply it, it instantly feels like water on your skin, but it's a powder! It feels very refreshing and it's definitely a unique powder for the summer time. It also sets my foundation in place all day long.
I don't always apply a blush during the summer so I'm not including one in todays post, but I do always reach for my bronzer. I'm definitely one to go for a natural bronzed sun kissed look. With this Revlon Photoready bronzer in bronzed and chic, I definitely achieve a more tan and bronzed look. Along with bronzer I also have been loving to apply a rose gold highlighter to my cheekbones for the perfect sun kissed glow.
Moving on to brows and eyes.. yes eyes! I use the e.l.f eyebrow kit for both my eyebrows and my eyelids. I use the wax side for my brows and set them with the e.l.f clear brow gel. For my eyelids, I apply the powder side to darken my crease just a little. I like to stay light on the eyes for a more natural and fresh look.
For eyeliner, I don't always apply it, but when I do I love to use the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes felt tip eyeliner. It super easy to apply for a natural lined eye or a more dramatic wing.

For mascara, I am including both a regular one as well as a water proof one. The Rimmel London scandal eyes and the Covergirl Lash Blast Volume are both my absolute fav mascaras! I love applying these both together for amazing length and volume. The Rimmel one is perfect for length and the Covergirl one is perfect for volume and keeping my mascara from smudging or running from the hot sun.
Now for the lipstick! My favorite part. I love going for brighter lips in the summer time and hot pink is definitely the perfect color to go for. This Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in the shade India Intrigue dries to a matte finish a doesn't move! Another great product for those hot sunny days!
